The Family Design team is seeking a talented, hands-on digital product designer to craft experiences that connect families across Apple apps, enabling shared services, data, and content, and supporting children in using technology safely across iOS, iPad, Mac, and web platforms. Your responsibilities will include researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences based on product requirements. Deliverables encompass design mockups, prototypes, visual assets, and documentation for implementation. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively with teams such as Engineering, Product Marketing, and Senior Management. Your strong visual and UI design skills, coupled with user-centered principles, will help translate complex issues into clear, elegant solutions. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with an interest in emerging technologies like AI, AR/VR, web, and mobile devices. You should be a self-starter, motivated, capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision. The designs you create will impact millions worldwide each month. Minimum Qualifications
Enthusiasm for iterative design processes and group critique Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent teamwork skills Proven creative thinking, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to influence product features Strong communication skills; capable of working within a multi-disciplinary design team Portfolio showcasing your design thinking, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory Strong curiosity about technology and a passion for design Dedication to creating inclusive and accessible products At Apple, compensation includes base pay within a range, dependent on skills, experience, and location, with opportunities for growth. The base pay range for this role is $181,100 to $318,400. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits like medical coverage, retirement plans, discounts, educational reimbursement, and potential bonuses or relocation assistance. Note: Benefits are subject to eligibility and plan terms.
