Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and features over 750 rooms, cottages, villas, 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining. Pinterest What will I be doing? The HotSOS Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring timely, effective, and guest-focused service delivery by managing and monitoring the hotel’s HotSOS (Hotel Service Optimization System). Responsibilities include tracking service tickets, assigning tasks, following up, and closing requests. The Coordinator acts as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency, ultimately enhancing guest satisfaction. Monitor the HotSOS dashboard for incoming service tickets in real time. Assign and dispatch tickets to appropriate departments or team members based on priority and request type. Ensure timely follow-up on open tickets and escalate delays or unresolved issues to management. Close out completed tickets with proper documentation. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and other departments for prompt resolution. Analyze recurring issues to support process improvements. Provide regular reports on ticket volume, response times, and resolution status. Assist in staff training on HotSOS system usage, if needed. Serve as the system “super user” and liaise with vendors or IT for troubleshooting and updates. Maintain a professional, responsive approach to service requests. Perform other duties as assigned.
