Job Description Senior Technical Program Manager, Simulation Evaluation and Data This role is categorized as hybrid, requiring reporting to the Technical Innovation Center in Mountain View, CA, at least three times per week. The Role We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead simulation evaluation strategy and execution for GM’s autonomous driving program. You will oversee project timelines, resources, and scope across teams, ensuring alignment and efficient delivery. A strong technical background, leadership, and understanding of GM's simulation environments are essential. Responsibilities Develop and review department roadmaps and objectives regularly. Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into implementation plans. Coordinate with Engineering Managers to balance team workloads and initiatives. Define and monitor KPIs and milestones for project success. Contribute to design reviews and technical standards. Ensure smooth program execution and continuous improvement. Identify risks and develop mitigation plans. Lead program reviews with stakeholders. Build confidence among teams to minimize conflicts and improve output. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in managing complex technical projects. Experience in AV simulation and testing domains. BSc or MSc in Engineering, CS, or related field. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong systems thinking and familiarity with Agile workflows. Passion for AV technology. Preferred Qualifications Experience with autonomous vehicles or robotics simulation environments. Knowledge of simulation frameworks and safety validation. Compensation Salary range: $131,000 - $202,000, based on experience and location. Incentive pay may also be offered.
