Security Engineering Lead
to architect, implement, and lead security best practices across our AI product development lifecycle. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our applications, infrastructure, and data environments—built in
AWS GovCloud —meet the highest standards of security, scalability, and compliance. The Candidate must have 5+ years of AWS security architecture experience with expertise in VPC security, IAM policies, KMS encryption, Security Hub, Config, Datadog, NewRelic, Splunk, and CloudTrail implementation. The candidate must also understand AI/LM, CICD, and Infrastructure security risks, including SageMaker, Bedrock, and GPU compute environments, for comprehensive security impact assessments. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement security architecture and strategy for cloud-native AI and RPA platforms in AWS GovCloud. Lead secure design reviews, threat modeling, and security code reviews across projects. Drive adoption of security best practices across infrastructure, application, and data layers. Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed security controls throughout the SDLC. Perform technical risk assessments and own vulnerability detection, remediation, and documentation processes. Build automation tooling for secure deployments, vulnerability scans, and compliance monitoring. Conduct application security reviews and threat modeling sessions. Contribute to FedRAMP/NIST compliance and documentation efforts. Serve as the security SME during audits, security reviews, and incident response. Provide security mentorship, internal training, and participate in recruitment efforts. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, application/product security, and security architecture. Deep understanding of AWS security services (IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, VPC, etc.). Experience implementing FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, OWASP, and other relevant security frameworks. 5+ years of experience in threat modeling, vulnerability detection, and secure design. Proficiency in at least one modern programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Terraform, React.js). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience securing AI/ML, RPA, or data-intensive workloads in AWS. Familiarity with security for large-scale data systems (Kafka, Spark, Kinesis, etc.). Proven track record in leading security for SaaS/PaaS cloud products in regulated environments. Experience working in DevSecOps environments and with CI/CD pipeline security tools. Hands-on experience with tools like Snyk, Aqua, SonarQube, Trivy, HashiCorp Vault, etc. Certifications: AWS Security Specialty certifications Technologies You’ll Work With: Security & Compliance:
