Head of Product Engineering

to lead our B2B Ecommerce platform development and internal applications. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with deep technical expertise and a strong track record of driving execution. They will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. This includes providing strategic and technical oversight for the eCommerce platform being developed by an external vendor, ensuring it meets business expectations and technology standards. The candidate will own end-to-end delivery, coordinating across internal teams and vendor partners to ensure timely execution and alignment with business goals. They will also be accountable for building and nurturing a world-class engineering organization, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. In addition, they will serve as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, translating goals into actionable technology initiatives that enable growth and deliver measurable impact. Job Requirements and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: 15+ years of software development experience, with a focus onB2B and/or B2C Ecommerce platforms 10+ years in software development and architecture, specializing inMicrosoft technologies 10+ years of technical leadership, managing cross-functional teams (Dev, BA, DA, QA) Practical knowledge and experience with AI/Gen AI technologies for driving customer experience, automation and innovation Proven success inenterprise application deliveryandproduct engineering Deep expertise inthird-party integrationsandvendor management Skilled incloud technologies(AWS, Azure) Strong background inmicroservices architecturefor scalable, high-performance applications Proficient inmodern front-end frameworks(React, Angular) Experienced inDevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline implementation Leadership and Management: Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Experience in managing cross-functional teams and vendors Business Acumen and Strategy: In depth understanding of B2B Ecommerce business models, Product search/ taxonomies, and market trends Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for engineering teams Experience in aligning technical capabilities with business objectives Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent project management and prioritization skills Adaptable and flexible, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Expertise in cloud computing OMNIA Partners provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
