Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of the New Shepard program. Through operational reusability, New Shepard supports our mission of lowering the cost of access to space.
As part of a hardworking team of engineers, technicians, and specialists, you will improve the repeatability and reliability of New Shepard. You will lead investigations to understand the direct technical cause and systemic / root causes of reliability issues and vehicle down times. This role spans from development to the launch site as you will work with operations engineers, technical leaders, and maintenance professionals to identify & implement design and processes improvements. Engineers in this role are expected to become deeply familiar with system design and hands on with hardware & test/flight data to determine the factors that drive recurring issues and fix them.
