Job Description Job Description Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing About the Role We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team at our plant in San Leandro. In this role, you’ll play a key part in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring high product quality, and driving efficiency while maintaining a safe and positive work environment. You’ll lead a team that produces best-in-class baked goods that meet our rigorous standards for quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production and packaging activities Ensure consistent product quality, including proper use of raw and packaging materials Monitor and optimize productivity, minimize overtime, and adjust schedules as needed Train and support new hires to promote safety, performance, and retention Foster a respectful, professional, and team-oriented culture Maintain accurate schedules, cover absences, and support shift coverage as needed Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards Enforce and model safety, GMP, and company policies Take initiative in solving problems and making decisions, even in the supervisor’s absence Communicate effectively with team members and leadership Qualifications Experience : 5+ years in food manufacturing or similar production environment 5+ years in team leadership or supervisory roles 3+ years developing policies, procedures, or training programs Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred Technical Skills : Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of baking techniques and the ability to teach others Familiarity with GMP, AIB, HACCP guidelines Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively Key Competencies : Strong leadership and team-building abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving mindset and decision-making skills Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Work Environment & Schedule Must be available 7 days a week for problem-solving or emergency coverage Ability to work extended hours or adjust schedules as needed during peak production Company Description Our Professional Division works with clients as a stakeholder in their hiring strategy and process.
