With plans for a 6,000 to 8,000-square-foot fitness and wellness expansion, this is an exciting time to join us! Your Role as Executive Director: As the Executive Director of East Family YMCA, you’ll be at the helm of a thriving center, managing a $1.5M+ annual budget and guiding a diverse range of programs. From leading our staff to expanding our services, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing community engagement and driving the YMCA’s mission forward. Bachelor's degree in human services, business, social services or equivalent. Five or more years of professional experience in the YMCA or another nonprofit preferred. Knowledge and experience in all aspects of operations, including staff supervision and development, successful membershippractices, quality program development and implementation, volunteerism, facility and property management, and sound financial practices. Understanding of the mission and cause of the YMCA and the respective roles of volunteers and staff. Ability to relate effectively todiverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community; track record of building authentic, constructive relationships with others. Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities and achieve organizational objectives. YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification preferred. Experience in Aquatics and Youth Development preferred. Experience in growing membership and AOA programs preferred.
