Director of Operations
is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership. This position reports to the hotel General Manager. Organization - Hotel Kabuki Located in San Francisco near Pacific Heights, Hotel Kabuki is a boutique hotel in Japantown. The
Director of Operations
oversees Front Office, Housekeeping, Banquets, Outlets, and other operational areas managed by Hyatt. Duties include: Managing short and long-term planning for front and back of house operations. Developing and recommending budgets, marketing plans, and objectives. Participating in total hotel management as part of the Hotel Executive Committee. Implementing F&B sales/marketing programs. Developing and coaching employees. Handling hiring, training, performance reviews, and employee counseling. Managing payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budgets. Coordinating with other departments to ensure quality guest service. Resolving customer complaints to maintain satisfaction. Implementing procedures to enhance guest and staff satisfaction. Maintaining Hyatt standards and daily operational compliance. Communicating with Corporate Staff. The salary range for this position is $116,900 - $181,200. Qualifications include: At least 6 years of progressive hotel operations experience, preferably with Hyatt. Experience with hotel pre-opening is preferred. Strong service orientation and presentation skills. Minimum 5 years in a senior F&B or Rooms management role. Proven leadership abilities. Hospitality degree is an asset. High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Additional Details
