Your Role:
As a Branch Team Lead, you'll be the face of our credit union, providing a range of services that go beyond basic transactions. You’ll:
Handle teller transactions, open new accounts, assist with consumer loan applications, and fund loans with accuracy and a friendly demeanor. Cross-sell products and services, helping members discover solutions that meet their financial needs. Resolve any issues with a consultative approach that builds trust and long-term relationships.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Identify member’s needs, process Teller transactions, open and fund a wide range of new accounts and loan types, and refer members to business partners for additional products and services including Investments, Mortgage Loan and Business Services. Resolve issues with a consultative approach that builds trust and long-term relationships with members and associates. Sales & Communication Skills: Cross-sell products and services, helping members discover solutions that meet their financial needs. Ability to write and speak in an approachable yet professional manner. Lead & Inspire – Assist with coaching and developing an all-star team that is motivated to exceed expectations. Technology: Ability to understand and use various systems and software. Availability: Must be available Monday through Saturday, with schedules varying between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays. Integrity: Willingness to undergo thorough background and credit checks.
Compensation:
We value your experience and skills, and our competitive hourly rates reflect that. Final offers are based on qualifications, internal equity, and the level of position offered. Below are OCCU’s branch job levels with their corresponding hourly pay:
Member Service Rep. IV: $22.00 (requires minimum two years recent universal banker experience. This includes teller, new accounts, AND experience with consumer loans and other complex banking services) Senior Branch Rep. I - II: $24.00 - $25.00 (requires minimum three years recent universal banker experience, handling escalated issues, and helping with various leadership responsibilities) Branch Team Lead: $27.00 - $29.00 (requires one year of recent senior, team lead, or manager on duty level of experience within banking or credit union environment)

Financial Security: Life insurance at no cost and a 401(k) plan with a 3% automatic contribution plus a dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%. Work-Life Balance: 13 days of vacation and seven (7) sick days annually and paid holidays. Recognition & Growth: Annual merit increases, discretionary and referral bonuses, as well as educational grants up to $1,000 per year.
