Senior Director II, Supply Chain Operations – Water & Tea Category Position Overview: This role serves as the strategic partner and central point of contact for the Water & Tea categories regarding all Supply Chain initiatives from inception through commercialization to market and post-launch. It manages resources to ensure the Supply Chain function supports the categories’ objectives effectively. The position is accountable for supply chain results within these categories and plays a key role on the Supply Chain Operations team. The role sets and exceeds challenging performance goals to deliver excellent results, focusing on what is important to create urgency while managing multiple priorities. It requires understanding how efforts impact the larger organization, operating in alignment with enterprise goals. The individual must demonstrate confidence, organizational awareness, and adaptability in leadership style depending on the situation. Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities: Act as a key liaison between functional entities (e.g., Category Lead(s), Planning & Forecasting, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, vendors, external partners) to exchange process/technical information, business needs, and forecasts to drive supply chain results and market innovations. Communicate supply chain developments (e.g., new products, services, vendor considerations) to leadership and partners to influence strategies and decisions. Lead Business Review routines focused on innovation and business acceleration. Develop and maintain partnerships with internal senior management to influence decision-making. Serve as a senior leader on the Water & Tea Category leadership team. Set clear objectives for project teams, translating strategy into actionable plans, assigning responsibilities, allocating resources, and implementing metrics for progress. Evaluate problems, generate solutions, and make decisions aligned with business needs and team expectations. Oversee the development and execution of annual commercial and innovation plans, recommending supply chain improvements using data and industry best practices to achieve benefits like cost savings and technological advancements. Manage Long-Range Planning (LRP) for the Juice | Nutrition Operating Unit, including developing strategic plans for sustainable growth over 5-10 years, forecasting trends, evaluating challenges, and identifying opportunities. Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Related Work Experience:
10-15 Years Functional Skills: Analyze operational and financial data to improve performance for categories and supply chain. Create savings and performance reports using market data and intelligence. Establish communication routines with stakeholders and teams to clarify project scope and objectives. Implement process improvements to benefit the KO system and suppliers by coordinating activities across teams.
