Principal (Business Consulting)
to join our team. Responsibilities:
Complete assigned deliverables and activities on time with a high degree of quality. Lead/supervise projects and provide guidance/training to Business Consulting Group Members to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Build and share knowledge and skills quickly to deliver on client commitments, develop team members, and contribute to knowledge capital. Identify and define comprehensive solutions for stakeholder’s business problems and manage client and affinity team execution. Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the deliverables of projects under the Business Consulting Group. Coordinate the day-to-day operations of professional and technical staff assigned to projects by assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, directing efforts, and providing guidance. Review deliverables for accuracy and completeness for all projects. Prepare proposals, budgets, and workload projections for the Business Consulting Group. Be an effective leader and communicator with team members and clients. Manage and/or coordinate with other Consulting Groups associated with the project. Participate in client and team meetings, resolving project issues. Represent evolv and its clients at meetings and presentations related to assigned projects. Participate in community and industry networking groups. Meet regularly with clients to discuss current projects, evaluate firm performance, and identify new business opportunities. Partner with evolv’s Sales team to create action items regarding potential Business Consulting opportunities. Coach, develop, and mentor Analysts, Consultants, Senior Consultants, Managers, and Architects within the Business Consulting Group. Maintain best practices across multiple clients, influencing client decisions and creating new work opportunities. Prioritize operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals (1500 billable hours) while encouraging team members to reach 2000 billable hours. Contribute to evolv’s culture and people development through collaboration, internal initiatives, and obtaining certifications. Support growth by building client partnerships, recruiting top talent, hosting meetups, attending conferences, and authoring case studies and blog posts. Manage assigned annualized revenue for the Consulting Group/Client Team. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Experience scaling Business Consulting services and teams. Strong project, program, and product management skills with clients. Ability to grow teams organically through hiring and training. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners. Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Responsibility for contributing to revenue for a consulting firm.
