ABOUT THE ROLE As an Enterprise Applications Analyst - Events & Trials, you will be responsible for project managing the planning and support of various business meetings, client events, war rooms, and court locations. You will also be implementing your plans onsite which includes the setup, maintenance and support of all networking, software and hardware for remote locations with the assistance of the other Enterprise Applications, Events and Trials team members. Other key responsibilities include:
Project Management
Planning and organizing multiple events, ensuring that there is proper support and equipment coverages Assisting the team in planning the logistics for upcoming offsite meetings, trials, or events Meeting and coordinating with other internal technology departments for various on- site events and trials
Hardware
Installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting desktop/notebook and monitor hardware Installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting desktop printer hardware, ports, drivers and settings for local and networked printers Installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting audio\visual hardware such as projectors, sound equipment, microphones, cabling and
Networking
Proficient knowledge of installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting network routers, switches, wireless hardware and local/WAN network connections Proficient knowledge of TCP\IP and other modern network protocols Proficient knowledge of configuring and supporting various file sharing technologies (Windows SMB, FTP, Cloud)
Software
Experience supporting Windows desktop, NAS and Server operating systems Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365/2016 Troubleshoots software problems of practice office attorneys and paralegals as they relate to firm-wide, departmentally driven technology projects Lifting up to 50 of computer equipment on a semi-frequent basis
ABOUT YOU We’d love to hear from you if you: Have knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including the latest versions of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server, Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) Possess knowledge and proficiency of various remote communication methodologies required, including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Multifactor (MFA) authentication technology and VPN Display basic understanding of network topology and devices such as routers, firewalls, gateways, switches And have: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field A minimum of four (4) years of experience working directly with legal professionals, preferably in trial and war room situations A minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management related to planning event logistics; a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a PC hardware/software support role desired A minimum of three (3) years of related experience working with desktop computers, notebook computers and/or Remote Desktop Services (RDS) / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) preferred; experience with installations and upgrades, training, and technical documentation Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
