We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in computed tomography, with a preference for experience in trauma and cardiac facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform high-quality CT scans and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures. - Prepare and position patients for examinations. - Maintain standard operating procedures and adhere to regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide precise diagnostic imaging. - Execute venipuncture and assist with biopsies as needed, while demonstrating strong patient care skills. - Participate in on-call rotations and weekends as required.
**Qualifications:**
- CT Registry within 12 months of hire date required. - Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered radiology technologist. - ARRCT CT certification with at least 1 year of experience in Computed Tomography. - Experience with Siemens equipment preferred. - Current BLS certification. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
**Work Schedule:**
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM). - On-call responsibilities: One call shift during the week and one weekend of call every 4-6 weeks.
**Equipment Used:**
- Siemens Somatom Drive – 256 slice CT scanners.
**Dress Code:**
- Caribbean Blue and Black Scrubs (any combination of the two; black on black is not permitted).
