Shift:
Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30 (40 hours/week)
On-Call:
Required — Weekdays 15:30–07:00 (10–14 shifts/month) and 24-hour weekend call (07:00–07:00, 2 shifts/month)
Summary:
The Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and proven experience in a Cath Lab environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, including scrubbing and monitoring
Prepare the procedure room and maintain appropriate inventory of instruments and supplies
Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging and monitoring equipment
Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data throughout procedures
Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and radiation protection standards
Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) certification (required)
State licensure as applicable (required)
Current BLS (AHA) certification (required)
Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire (required)
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (required)
Proficient in computer-based charting and documentation
