$2526 Position Summary: VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Evenings at a leading $facility_type$ in Wilmington, NC. Key Responsibilities: • Perform MRI scanning procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE • Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment • Provide imaging services for all patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Maintain current BLS certification • Maintain valid ARRT and ARRT MR certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Work 5x8 hour shifts from 14:30 - 23:00 • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on census and skill sets • Complete hospital orientation during first week of assignment • Report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty situations, or disasters as part of Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team • Adhere to fatigue policy limiting work to maximum 5 consecutive days and 60 hours per week • Complete all required compliance testing within 48 hours after signing • Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months • Maintain minimum 2 years of MRI experience with previous travel experience required • Comply with facility dress code requirements including royal blue scrubs Job Requirements: Active, unencumbered license in NC Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable) Other Required Documentation: Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format) Two current clinical references State-required professional license Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months) TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months) Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted) Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations Must pass background check and drug screening Why Choose VitalHire: A modern, mobile-first platform built for how you want to work Clear, upfront pay rates - no surprises Book contracts and shifts on your schedule, 24/7 Maximize your take-home with top tier, tax-free housing & travel stipends Contract extension bonuses Referral rewards Optional retirement benefits One quick setup of your profile gives you immediate access to all job details, facilities, and complete control of your work-life balance.
