The Chief will lead the
Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Section
at
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Brenner Children’s Hospital , now part of
Atrium Health Levine Children's , and serve as liaison to the Children’s Hospital leadership team, the Section, and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the program’s regional and national presence, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and mentoring the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. The team provides
compassionate, high-quality medical and surgical care
to pediatric patients, integrating expertise across
10 subspecialties
to deliver innovative, multidisciplinary treatment. A strong commitment to
research and education
ensures that the department remains at the forefront of
advancing orthopaedic and rehabilitation care
through clinical breakthroughs, interdepartmental collaboration, and cutting-edge training programs. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Development:
Oversee and advance a comprehensive pediatric orthopaedic surgery program, ensuring excellence in patient care, innovation, and growth. Clinical Excellence:
Manage conditions related to comprehensive pediatric orthopaedic care from birth to early adulthood providing expertise in treating conditions related to the broad spectrum of congenital, developmental, and traumatic disorders. Education & Mentorship:
Provide exceptional training and mentorship to orthopaedic and podiatric surgery residents and medical students. Research & Innovation:
Engage in and promote cutting-edge clinical and laboratory research that advances the pediatric orthopaedic section. The Pediatric Orthopaedic Team
