GenAI Implementation Subject Matter Expert
Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid – onsite work required) · Two days a week in office required. Client will select which days of the week. · Must live within 60-90 miles minimum from location Full job description Role Overview: As a Subject Matter Expert, you will provide domain-specific knowledge to a GenAI project team, assist in identifying and validating use cases, and ensure accurate implementation. This role requires a background in executive leadership and a strong grasp of AI concepts and their business applications. Key Responsibilities: Provide domain-specific knowledge and expertise to a GenAI project team Experience in driving & leading Organizational Transformation Initiatives Assist in identifying and validating use cases within their area of expertise Collaborate with the GenAI Strategist and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation Act as a liaison and evangelist between the project team and other departments Translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements for technical team members Perform data analysis and predictive data modeling Mentor and educate team members on domain best practices and industry standards Engage with stakeholders to drive value-based solution discussions Contribute to business development efforts and proposal creation Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in the public sector domain 3+ years in an executive leadership (CIO, CTO, COO, etc.) role 3+ AI or machine learning implementation projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experienced in all areas of executive leadership. Proven track record in applying domain expertise to technology implementation projects to drive large scale organizational implementation Experience in requirements gathering and documentation Strong presentation skills to different audiences ranging from senior-level leadership to operational staff Preferred Qualifications: Experience in GenAI or related AI technologies Public Sector Executive Leadership Experience Relevant industry certifications in their domain of expertise Bachelor’s degree in their field of expertise; advanced degree preferred Multi-domain project experience solving complex business challenges with AI Proven consulting experience with a focus on client engagement
