Engineer, Software - Senior

Primary Roles and Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of developers with hands-on participation in the projects Analyze, design and develop new programs and maintain and enhance existing software Provide technical leadership in new systems development and enhancement of existing systems Participate in production support and problem resolution Test and debug programs for accuracy and functionality Participate in research and development of experimental designs and systems Work with cross-functional teams/leads Improve the software development processes and best practices Actively participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards Mentor non-senior development staff Other duties as assigned by leadership Experience and Education Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers with hands-on participation in projects Experience analyzing, designing, and developing new programs and maintaining and enhancing existing software Experience providing technical leadership in new systems development and enhancement of existing systems Experience participating in production support and problem resolution Experience testing and debugging programs for accuracy and functionality Experience participating in research and development of experimental designs and systems Experience working with cross-functional teams/leads Experience improving software development processes and best practices Experience actively participating in code reviews and enforcing coding standards Experience mentoring non-senior development staff Other duties as assigned by leadership Preferred Experience Server-based gaming experience Experience with installation packages Experience designing, building, and installing web services Physical Demands/Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
