Yoodli is a private, personalized and AI powered speech coach. Our dream is to help people around the world improve their communication skills without feeling judged. We’ve raised $7M+ in seed funding from leading investors such as Madrona, AI2, Cercano and other industry experts. Our work has been featured in outlets including WSJ , Inc ., and Geekwire . We recently announced a partnership with Toastmasters International to bring AI powered speech coaching to 300k+ members globally. We’re a mission focused and fast growing startup based out of the Allen AI Institute in Seattle. The team includes alumni from GoogleX, Apple, Intuit among others. What we’re hoping you bring:
You believe in the mission and care deeply about helping people achieve more by communicating better. You have full stack experience building web applications and user interfaces, working closely with designers, and maintaining front end infrastructure. You care about the user experience and ensure it’s beautiful, responsiveness, and robust across many different platforms. While you enjoy working full stack, you enjoy having the frontend be a focus of your efforts. You deliver high quality work at a rapid pace, while efficiently collaborating with Design, PM, and other engineers. This role is hybrid with an expectation of 3 days a week in the office - you’ll need to be based in the Greater Seattle Area. About You:
2+ years of professional development experience, shipping production code Able to write professional-quality in commonly used frontend languages and frameworks (ideally: TypeScript, React, CSS) Experience implementing designs and integrating systems with modern design frameworks Humility, creativity, and team-first-attitude, with a love for learning Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent work experience Leadership experience as a hands-on technical lead or manager Material UI Next.js NoSQL databases API implementation and design What’s in it for you?
