About the job Electrical Project Engineer
We are seeking a degree-holding Electrical Project Engineer who is eager to work in a dynamic environment, taking projects from conceptual design to construction and commissioning . In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers to solve complex challenges, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and design electrical systems that power critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design building electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency power, fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and communications systems .
  • Perform design computations and produce plans in compliance with NEC, IBC, NFPA codes .
  • Develop construction cost estimates , contract plans, and technical specifications.
  • Use Autodesk CADD, Revit , and discipline-specific design software to produce accurate drawings.
  • Attend client meetings and coordinate project deliverables with internal teams.
  • Conduct occasional field surveys, inspections, and construction verification .
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical power distribution, generation, lighting controls, fire alarm, telecommunications, or security systems design.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk CADD, Autodesk Revit , and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to apply NEC, IBC, and NFPA codes to design work.
  • Must pass company Motor Vehicle screening.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License .
  • Experience with Microsoft Project , Bentley Microstation , SKM Power Tools or ETAP , AGi32 or ElumTools .
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment.
  • Experience working with federal, state, and local government agencies .
