Lube Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lube Technician for our client in Fort Smith, AR. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 1 to 2 years of automotive maintenance experience who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in their work, and are committed to delivering top-quality service. As a Lube Technician , you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and routine vehicle services to keep customers' vehicles in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities

• Fluid Services: Perform oil changes, transmission fluid changes, brake fluid changes, and top off other fluids such as coolant and power steering fluid.
• Filter Replacements: Replace oil filters, air filters, and other filters as needed.
• Tire Services: Rotate tires, check tire pressure, and replace tires when required.
• Basic Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of key vehicle components, including brakes, belts, and hoses, to identify potential issues.
• Customer Communication: Clearly explain service recommendations to customers and answer any questions about maintenance needs.
• Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure proper disposal of used fluids and materials according to safety regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Additional Duties:

• Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs or fuses.
• Sell and install accessories like wiper blades or batteries.
• Assist in more complex repairs alongside other team members when necessary.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of lube technician or related automotive maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
