Ability to use Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access) Ability to create databases and spreadsheets.
Ability to compose correspondence using proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Ability to keep accurate personnel files. Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to handle staff concerns.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner. Ability to be flexible and work well with change.
Ability to adapt to special events/programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation and maintenance of personnel files, including I-9's, medical information, etc. for all district staff
- Responsible for ordering supplies and creating necessary purchase orders
- Ensure accurate completion of necessary forms and records for newly hired employees
- Mandatory attendance at out of district meetings and trainings related to job function
- Update personnel information with data from approved Board of Education meeting minutes
- Prepare and publish job postings for all district vacancies
- Verify qualifications for various positions
- Responsible for fan out/local police department, television and radio stations for inclement weather, emergency school closings
- Familiarity with interpretation of Master Agreements for the bargaining units
- Grievance Receipt, Response Preparation, and Tracking
- Negotiation Proposal Preparation and Tracking
- District manager/contact for AppliTrack
- Receive, sort and file resumes and applications for all district vacancies
- Maintain copies of interview/employment forms
- Provide administrators with various employee information
- Establish and monitor files for positions advertised; schedule appointments for interviews and meetings
- Maintain files for certificated employees
- Assist in administering employment testing
- Arrange posting of classified ads including job openings, budget hearing, etc.
- Responds to inquiries for employment verification
- Prepares and responds to various request for information/documents
- Send correspondence to various classifications of applicants as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Human Resources and Superintendent of Schools
