Emergency Medicine Physician (, OR, United States)

Shift:

• 6 shifts per month

Details:

• Single ED physician covers 24 hours shifts.
• Average patient volume is 21 per 24 hour shift.
• Vast majority of the patients are Level 3,4 or 5 (72%).
• Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24/7.
• Effective telestroke program well established.
• Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers/physician consultation.
• EMR: EPIC
• Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months
• Comfortable with RURAL locations

Requirements:

• Board Certified - Required (can accept FM)
• Active OR license - Required or IMLC
• Clean background, no malpractice - Required
• Local candidates, no flights - highly preferred
• Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
• DEA
• Oregon
