Emplify Health by Gundersen is recruiting for a BC/BE Corneal, Cataract, and Refractive surgeon to take over a busy and established practice. The ideal candidate would be interested in all corneal surgeries, including corneal crosslinking, refractive and complex cataracts, as well as refractive surgery such as Lasik and PRK.
Shared call is 1:10 with board-certified Ophthalmologists on staff. We are a full-service ophthalmology department with comprehensive ophthalmologists and subspecialists, including glaucoma, retina, pediatrics, and oculoplastics.
The Gundersen Eye Department offers the latest technology and equipment. We are a well-established, thriving, and collegial group. Serving a large regional area, we encounter a wide variety of pathologies in a diverse patient population.
We provide state-of-the-art eye care to residents of southwest Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota, and northeast Iowa. Our professional eye care team includes optometrists, certified ophthalmic and optometric technicians, contact lens specialists, low vision personnel, and on-site opticians.

Candidates must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible. They must also have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region without restrictions. Medical staff will supervise advanced practice clinicians and may provide outreach services. Teaching students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff is fundamental to our Medical Education philosophy and expected of all medical staff.
