Your Role: Primary Care Physician Assistant

As a Physician Assistant with a primary care focus, youll provide exceptional care across all life spans and families in a thriving primary care setting. Youll assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure comprehensive care and best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough physical exams and health assessments for pediatric patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring precision in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies, always considering safety, efficacy, and patient well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans in partnership with supervising physicians.
  • Provide valuable patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative health measures.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with patients and their families, becoming a trusted healthcare provider and advocate.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years experience as a Physician Assistant.

Certifications: Must hold current PA certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Licensing: Current Texas PA license (or ability to obtain one).

CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
