NP/PA Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity in Roanoke Rapids, NC New

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health North Hospital, located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with their Hospitalist program. At least 2 years of inpatient experience are required.

Job Highlights include:

Employment by ECU Health Physicians

Hospital privileges at ECU Health North Hospital

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7p-5a (4) 10 hour shifts

No Call

204 bed community hospital

Established hospitalist program inclusive of 11 Physicians & 1 Advanced Practice Provider

Clinical responsibilities will include admissions and consults from ED, rounding on inpatients as needed, discharges, coordination of patient and family care needs

Advanced practice providers work independently with limited daily physician supervision

Specialty support provided by Cardiology, General Surgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology Nephrology, Radiology, ID (telemedicine), Psychiatry (telemedicine)

No procedures required

Ability to live on Lake Gaston

ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association are required
