UC San Diego Health CommUnity Care is recruiting for a Per Diem Primary Care Physician - up to 40% FTE, who will fill in for vacations/leaves of absence.
This position covers multiple outpatient locations throughout the county, including Encinitas, Pacific Highlands Ranch, Rancho Bernardo, Eastlake, Vista, and Downtown San Diego. Some coverage will be provided via Tele-Visit.
Please note, this position does not include an academic appointment through the School of Medicine.
CLINICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a Per Diem Primary Care Physician, primarily covering scheduled physician vacations and leaves in Primary Care.

- Family Medicine Rate: $134.86 per hour
- Internal Medicine Rate: $139.16 per hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Current California Medical License, or ability and commitment to obtain one prior to start date
- At least two (2) years' experience in an outpatient setting
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and immunization screening.
