Per Diem Neonatologists Needed at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH - Apply Today!

Responsibilities

We are seeking per diem Neonatologists to join our team at Miami Valley Hospital, which has a well-established Level-IIIB neonatal intensive care unit. The practice includes 6 Neonatologists and 8 NNPs. Miami Valley Hospital has provided ECMO services since 1986 and collaborates with Dayton Childrens Hospital. The hospital serves a pediatric population of 1.4 million across 17 counties, with the following highlights:

  • Coverage of a 60-bed Level-IIIB NICU
  • Average daily census of 42 patients
  • Approximately 4,000 deliveries and 950 NICU admissions annually
  • Available subspecialty support
  • Flexible schedule for work/life balance
  • Call options from home or in-house
  • Affiliated with Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine, involving residents and students

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Neonatologist
  • Minimum of 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience
  • Active Ohio license or ability to obtain one
  • Ongoing availability for per diem work preferred

Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix covers travel expenses (flights, rental cars, mileage, lodging) for those outside a commutable distance. Malpractice insurance is also provided. Benefits for per diem members include access to Employee Assistance programs. Please note that PTO, holidays, and other compensation are not offered for per diem roles.
