POSITION SUMMARY:

The Department of Internal Medicine at USF Morsani College of Medicine seeks a faculty physician specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD), including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. The team offers long-term symptom relief, minimizes flare-ups, and promotes remission through hospital rotations, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy, and ambulatory clinics. The candidate should also have an interest in building a research footprint focused on a nationally competitive program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctoral/Medical degree from an accredited institution, with achievement in teaching, research, and service.
  • Meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
  • For Associate or Full Professor: recognized authority with published work in refereed journals.
  • Strong interest in esophageal, liver diseases, and general motility, in addition to IBD.
  • Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License or equivalent.
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine / Gastroenterology / IBD.
