12-hour days (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM; 10:45 AM - 11:15 PM) Weekly Hours:
36 (option for 48 hours per week) Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1570 - $1680 Schedule:

Solid Navy Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses) Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (will consider 18 months with at least 1 year in Emergency Department) Associate degree in nursing or higher Required certifications:
AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NIH Stroke Scale TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Experience with Meditech EMR preferred ER Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare support staff to deliver comprehensive emergency services Respond to trauma and critical care situations with nurse-to-patient ratios from 1:1 (critical/trauma) to 1:3-4 (other patients) Float to other hospital units or facilities as required to support patient care needs Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Meditech EMR Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (solid navy scrubs) Participate in holiday and every other weekend rotations as part of the nursing team
