The Cardiology Imaging & Procedural Support Technician, under supervision of the Admin Nurse Managers and the Imaging Information Manager, is responsible for a variety of clerical, technical and ancillary duties that provide an efficient working environment throughout the procedural areas. Assists with film/image management; troubleshoots equipment; managing requests specific to imaging area; stocking and maintaining equipment/supplies throughout the procedural areas. Adheres to all policies and procedures of the Cardiology Department and hospital administration. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you'll bring to the team: Demonstrates, through behavior, Advent Health's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork Troubleshoots digital archiving systems and contacts appropriate parties for service recovery if unable to resolve issue. Manages and maintains all images throughout procedural area which includes but not limited to: maintaining old archived cine films in storage area; changing tapes daily on MUSE system; log all patient data systematically in accordance with department standards; deletion of old image studies in the Orlando invasive labs and vascular labs/surgery. Tracks and processes all requests for imaging sources both entering and exiting facility accurately and promptly with no more than 3 documented errors per year; timely loading of CDs from outside resources Qualifications High School Grad or Equivalent Preferred Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
