Quality Control Lead
The Quality Control Lead is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing the quality control of automobile and powersports consumer-facing publications and technical service bulletins. This role involves editing publications from Japan and in-house, maintaining cover art templates, and conducting final reviews. The role requires interaction with various requesters within the corporation, demanding diplomacy and the ability to reconcile conflicting requests to produce high-quality content. Responsibilities
Complete automotive and powersports owner's manual regulatory compliance reviews within ten business days. Conduct quality control reviews of automotive and powersports consumer-facing publications within ten business days. Perform quality control reviews of internal communications within one business day. Ensure all reviews are completed with zero errors, maintaining 100% quality. Maintain and update cover art templates. Essential Skills
Adherence to regulatory compliance standards during document reviews. Excellent proficiency in written English, including grammar, punctuation, and style. Meticulous approach to work with a strong attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Illustrator. Ability to ask questions and interact effectively with technical writers and SMEs. Capability to maintain high-quality work under deadline pressure. Focus and productivity in a noisy, open-office environment. Sound judgment during the editing process. Work Environment
The role requires four days of onsite work and one day of remote work. The environment is open-office, requiring focus amidst noise. Job Type & Location
This is a contract position based out of Torrance, California. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
