Manager, Rbx Strategy & Design
Within the Retail Brand Experience (RBX) team, there is an opportunity to design and deliver Target's in-store experience to position us as America's favorite discovery destination. As Manager, RBX Strategy & Design, you will support guest-led, holistic in-store experience strategies, inclusive of signage and product merchandising to drive the business for all cycles. You will develop the floorpad architecture inclusive of fixture & mannequin placement (if relevant) and messaging strategy. You will write clear and actionable detailed deliverable briefs highlighting messaging hierarchy, photography needs, and signage placement and kick off the detailed concept work with creative partners. You will be responsible for evaluating the concepts against the strategic objectives and preparing for leader alignment reviews which could include physical build out in our mock store or via digital presentations. You may also be asked to support division specific projects that occur off-cycle. You will partner cross-functionally with Merchants, Planning, Product Design, SPT, RBX Partners, Creative, GMS, Site Merch & Store Ops to execute holistic presentation concepts & omnichannel strategies for each transition based on the cycle brief. You will create & maintain strong working relationships with these stakeholders and will ensure RBX guidelines are consistently maintained, inclusive of Legal & Safety guidelines and Target Brand standards. About you: Four-year degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design or equivalent experience. 5-7 years relevant visual merchandising and/or marketing experience strongly preferred. Experience authoring successful creative briefs. Strong sense of composition and design detail. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complexity amidst ambiguity. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Smartsheet. This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team, and tasks require for that day.
