CNC Waterjet & Burn Table Operator - Entry Level
Are you mechanically inclined and ready to launch a hands-on career in manufacturing? Join our team as a CNC Waterjet & Burn Table Operator and become a key player in producing precision parts from blueprint to final inspection. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial environment and is eager to learn and grow. What You'll Do Operate CNC waterjet and burn table machines to manufacture parts from technical drawings Start as a Saw Operator, with cross-training opportunities on Hypertherm plasma systems Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD files Use measuring tools including tape measures, dial/digital calipers Manage computer files and operate 2D CAD programs (O Max, Intelli Max) Assemble mechanical components (bearings, couplings, shafts) Perform basic fabrication using hand and power tools Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure quality standards Maintain accurate job time records and follow production workflows What We're Looking For Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work safely in a heavy industrial setting Strong time management and problem-solving skills Willingness to work 10-hour shifts, with overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must Skills That Will Help You Succeed Mechanical assembly and fabrication Blueprint reading and interpretation Experience with grinding, measuring tools, and basic shop equipment Familiarity with CAD software and CNC operations (a plus, but not required) Why Join Us?
