The Manager of Cyber Security Operations will be responsible for developing and managing the organization's information security operations program. This role will own and drive the organizational rollout of a robust and formal approach to managing information security operations across all technology platforms and business environments. In addition, they will ensure appropriate information security operations and least privilege access procedures are in place while driving performance efficiencies based on the appropriate risk to the organization. Responsibilities include: Leading our Co-Managed Security Operations Vendor (CSOC) engagement to ensure continued integration and growth. Overseeing the integration, operations and assist in deploying of IT Security Technologies, and processes including but not limited to, Security Incident Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR), Vulnerability Management, Firewall/Web Filter blocks, Data Loss Prevention Administration, and Threat Hunting/Incident Management toolsets. Overseeing the development of the Security Operations team, meeting goals of the department, maintaining employee's work schedules, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring that the Security Operations Program is moving forward as defined in the Security Operations Strategy. Managing the effectiveness of the information security program technologies, including progress on remedial actions, and serving as an internal information security consultant and subject matter expert. Managing information security risks by routine assessments by, developing a vulnerability and patch management plan, implementing the required controls and develop remediation plans for process/policy related information security vulnerabilities. Managing the incident response team and plan to contain and investigate security events, vulnerabilities and prevent future information security breaches with detailed root cause analysis. Fulfilling all compliance responsibilities related to the position. Leading Technical Security Response Team (TSRT) during Security Incidents. Responsible for developing and providing appropriate metrics that measure both cyber risk and operational performance of the SOC. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; MA or MBA preferred. Minimum 7 years experience in Information Technology Minimum 5 years of direct IT Security experience in one or more of the ten security domains Location: Bethpage, NY, US, 11714 Nearest Major Market: Long Island Nearest Secondary Market: New York City
