Customer Service Representative
1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm) Monday - Friday: PLEASE NOTE POSSIBLE DAILY OVERTIME AND POSSIBLE SATURDAY WORK Pay rate: $22-22.50/hr As the Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining workflow by assisting managers and supervisors with the coordination of warehouse duties, including inventory, creating packaging slips and reports, and fulfilling customer orders. What youll do on a typical day: Coordinate workload allocation among warehouse workers, material handlers and drivers Prepare work orders; troubleshoot orders and resolve discrepancies as needed Assign and release orders sent for loading and unloading Allocate and research inventory for orders Enter data for inbound and/or outbound freight into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and create bills of lading (BOLs) Maintain and generate required reports Process, audit and file various documentation We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements: 1+ years of customer service experience 6+ months of experience in a warehouse setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively with carriers, customers, employees and management Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent Availability to work a flexible schedule when needed Experience with any of the following: Ship IQ, Fulfillment IQ, Logistics IQ, Route IQ Experience with WMS systems such as Manhattan or SAP for inventory tracking Tendering, routing, shipments, communicating with ops teams Dispatching and routing experience Experience working within WMS systems such as Manhattan Experience creating BOLs SAP database experience or other customer portals Fulfillment or Ship IQ: both routing portals Uploading dimensions for a pallet perspective into transportation line holes or portals for LTL or TL carriers Experience managing charge back or other carrier fees they could be accrued for OSND (over short and damages) experience managing that type of freight and mitigating null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
