Description: Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack .NET Developer to support ongoing and upcoming technology initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications and services that are vital to internal operations and public-facing systems. The developer will play a key role in modernizing legacy systems and enhancing the functionality and performance of current applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and related technologies. Create dynamic, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. Build and integrate backend services, APIs, and database components to support robust application functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and analysts to gather requirements and define technical solutions. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently through thorough debugging and root cause analysis. Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability. Implement and follow development best practices and ensure all code is secure, performant, and scalable. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and system diagrams. Support quality assurance efforts and work closely with QA teams to ensure the delivery of reliable and error-free applications. Participate in DevOps activities including builds, deployments, and monitoring. Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and RESTful API development. Strong experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and a modern front-end framework like Angular or React. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Expertise with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Familiarity with source control tools such as Git or TFS. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the public sector or large enterprise environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps pipelines. Awareness of accessibility standards and compliance requirements. Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
