Eastern North Carolina
is seeking an experienced
Director of Surgical Services
to lead and grow a multi-specialty perioperative department that performs over 4500 annual procdures. This is a high-impact role with oversight for the
Operating Rooms, Cath Lab, Sterile Processing, Pre-op/PACU, and Echo , with the opportunity to launch new programs, drive efficiency, and strengthen team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for all surgical services operations with a team of
70 FTE's
(including a strong support team of dedicated RN Managers, SPD Supervisor and Department Educator) Oversee daily operations, staffing, and performance management for perioperative departments Develop and implement growth plans with incoming surgeons across multiple specialties Launch and manage a new da Vinci robotic surgery program Partner with medical staff and hospital leadership to enhance patient care and service quality Standardize processes to improve OR efficiency and throughput Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN required; Master's is preferred) Minimum three (3) years of perioperative leadership experience, preferably as a Director Proven track record of operational improvements and program development Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to build team trust and accountability Compensation & Benefits:
Salary up to
$160K
(based on experience) + annual Director level bonus incentive up to 10% Up to $15k relocation assistance and temporary housing available Comprehensive benefits package Generous 401k and 457b retirement plans Paid time off (PTO) and professional development opportunities Why Join Us:
