About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in Bel Oak Communities/Bel Oak of Mark Twain. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary needs. You will work closely with our kitchen staff and nursing team to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in food service or a related field Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to work as a team member Relate positively and communicate effectively with residents and staff

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an assisted living or long-term care facility Knowledge of infection control and food service safety guidelines

Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents Ensure that all meals meet the dietary needs of our residents Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area Assist with inventory and ordering of food and supplies Follow all infection control and food service safety guidelines

Skills:

As a Dietary Aide, you will use your skills in patience, following written and oral instructions, working as a team member, and relating positively to residents and staff on a daily basis. You will also need to have knowledge of infection control and food service safety guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be critical in ensuring that all meals meet the dietary needs of our residents. Additionally, your ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff will be essential in creating a positive and welcoming dining experience for our residents.
