Leak Detection Specialist Johnson Comfort is looking for a Leak Detection Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for detecting and diagnosing leaks in both residential and commercial properties. They will provide exceptional customer service by addressing issues, using advanced technology, and ensuring efficient and accurate leak detection. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable with new technology, and enjoy working outdoors in various conditions. Location & Commitments Location: Franklin, Indiana (with travel to surrounding areas)

Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Schedule: Mon-Fri, with flexibility for night shifts or weekends as needed; 40+ hrs

Responsibilities Reports to: Plumbing Manager

Conduct leak detection on interior and exterior residential & commercial properties, pools, and spas

Diagnose the cause and origin of concealed leaks, structural leaks, and water infiltration damage

Communicate with management, colleagues, and customers

Provide professional and courteous customer service

Work outdoors and away from the office

Master underground line tracking, video, ultrasonic, and infrared technologies

What We Are Looking For

High School Diploma/GED is required Must pass a background check and drug screening

Plumbing, mechanical, and construction background is a plus

certifications in non-destructive testing a plus

Self-motivated, accountable, values high integrity, and has a competitive spirit

Comfortable with learning and using new technology

Enjoys working outside in various conditions and not confined to an office

Flexible with scheduling, including night shifts or weekends as needed

Able to perform intermittent, sometimes heavy, physical labor

Willing to travel for extended periods as business needs require

Mechanically inclined and knows how to use a variety of tools

Able to move/lift up to 100 pounds

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to swim

Neat appearance and high standard of professionalism

Current Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record

Ability to create well-written and concise reports to describe leak issues effectively
