Senior Full Stack Developer
for their
McLean, VA
location. Responsibilities: Join a team undergoing modernization, adopting modern software engineering practices such as Agile, TDD, ATDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, and Containerization, providing application support and continuous value to users and customers. Support applications in cloud environments, leveraging your knowledge and experience. Interface with business lines and IT teams, utilizing strong communication and problem-solving skills. Apply your deep system knowledge and debugging expertise to develop strategic solutions for production support.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in developing robust solutions and application production support. 4+ years of experience working in modernized development teams. Experience designing and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS), including custom code on IaaS/PaaS and SaaS integrations. Excellent communication skills for interfacing with business and IT teams. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Java, Angular, Node.js, Python. Experience with tools like Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git. Knowledge of databases such as DB2, MongoDB, PostgreSQL. Cloud expertise with AWS, EKS, Docker, OpenShift. Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK/ESS. Familiarity with scheduling tools like Autosys and Control-M. Hands-on development experience. Collaborative attitude, innovative mindset, and leadership qualities.
