Successful applicants must be licensed in Georgia and possess exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills. Primary duties include: File review and legal analysis of workers’ compensation claims Legal research and drafting of client correspondence, discovery devices, summations, appeals, and appellate briefs Achieving an annual billable target of 1950 hours Representing clients at depositions and hearings Trial preparation and attendance Expert witness retention and evaluation Required qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Admitted to practice in Georgia; additional states are a plus Strong analytical, research, and communication skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team Prompt responsiveness to emails and calls Excellent client service and communication skills Benefits include: Innovative bonus program rewarding entrepreneurial initiatives Support and training for marketing and professional development Benefits including 401(k) match Opportunities for growth and advancement Department: Workers' Compensation This is a full-time position.
