JOB SUMMARY This job leads the development and execution of a dynamic digital communications strategy that informs, engages, and connects UT Southwestern's workforce. This role is pivotal in shaping intuitive and impactful digital experiences across internal platforms, with special emphasis on an employee mobile app. Internal employee communications experience is a plus. Experience with survey platforms and employee engagement tools preferred. Information architecture or related UIX skills for strategy and design for web, mobile and application design preferred. This position falls under a hybrid work schedule that is currently 2 days per week in office / 3 days remote.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Bachelor's Degree in related field. Experience 5 years in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field. Demonstrable excellence in writing, editorial, digital communications, and web-based editorial development. Experience with culture initiatives and/or community building. Experience with survey platforms and employee engagement tools. Preferred Education Additional education or certifications a plus. Experience Internal communications experience. Information architecture or related UIX skills for strategy and design for web, mobile, and application design. Experience with mobile applications
JOB DUTIES Strategize and develop content plans that align with employee interests, organizational priorities, and engagement goals - balancing evergreen topics with timely, relevant storytelling. Identify compelling content themes and formats that drive engagement across digital channels, using data to refine and adapt strategy over time. Coordinate an innovative content strategy for the intranet homepage as well as UTSW Huddle, an employee engagement platform designed to keep the workforce informed, build a sense of community and foster greater collaboration. Administer and maintain the employee engagement platform. Plan, develop, and publish clear, concise, and engaging communications - including written posts, photo galleries, surveys, quizzes, e-newsletters, video, and more - for a variety of employee audiences. Develop overall user experience, interactive design, and information architecture for mobile and desktop platforms. Lead UX design sessions to identify user and technical requirements to ensure that solutions achieve user and team goals. Monitor, interpret, and leverage digital analytics to improve content performance and user engagement. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and translate business and functional requirements into user-friendly, technically optimal, and feasible designs. Design and conduct usability studies to ensure designs are intuitive and impactful. Serve as a key content coordinator and contributor to employee communications, managing tight deadlines. Performs other duties as assigned.
