Job Summary
The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking an Ophthalmic Photographer to enhance patient care through specialized ophthalmic imaging. The role involves selecting appropriate photographic techniques and instruments to gather data for ophthalmology procedures, and contributing to departmental practices and policies.

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in ophthalmic imaging, including proficiency in OCT, fundus photography, slit lamp photography, and external photography
Experience with ophthalmic imaging procedures such as IOL Master, Lenstar, corneal topography, fluorescein angiography, and ICG angiography in a clinical setting
Licenses and Certifications: CRA (Retinal Angiographer) or OCT (Optical Coherence Tomographer) within 1 year
Preferred Qualifications
College or vocational training in ophthalmic diagnostic photography and angiography
One year of clinical trials or research experience
Job Duties
Coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic photography and angiography, maintain records
Perform ophthalmic imaging and upload images to the EMR for review; discuss quality with physicians
Prepare photographic materials for conferences and exhibits
Instruct residents in fundus photography procedures
Maintain and repair ophthalmic photography equipment
Perform duties involving direct patient or research participant interaction, and handling of sensitive records
Perform other duties as assigned
