* Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 09/01/2025 * Duration: 13 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, rotating * Employment Type: Travel
*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP # of L&D Beds: 4 L&D beds, 7 postpartum - Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: Labor: 1:1-2, PostPartum: 1:2-3 - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: >35 weeks in labor, Mom/Baby couplets - Years Experience: 2yrs experience required - Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Antepartum/Labor- Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, Zofran, etc . Postpartum: Prenatal vitamin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Percocet, Toradol - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes - RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: Neonatal vent- CPAP, Bipap, high flow - EFM System OB Trace Vue. FIT TESTING / FACIAL HAIR- Please note, if a clinician for this facility has facial hair, they will be required to pass the either the Primary or Secondary fit test (3M Aura 1860 sm or reg/3M 1870+). If unable to pass - A Portacount test would be required, which CANNOT be completed on clinicians with facial hair & PAPR CANNOT be completed on site solely due to failing because of facial hair - contract would be canceled if facial hair cannot be removed About Malone Healthcare - Nursing
