* Specialty: Labor and Delivery * Discipline: RN * Duration: 13 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, nights * Employment Type: Travel
* Number of Beds - 26 * Number of Staff - 52 * Type of staff:
* Day Shift - ( example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) AT minimum 1 charge, 3 nurses and an ORT * Night Shift - AT minimum 1 charge, 3 nurses and an ORT
* Patient Ratios - 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for labors - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed * Type of equipment - Alaris pumps * EMR - Meditech, CPN charting system
Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
* Antepartum/high risk L&D experience * At least 2 years L&D experience
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
* Mom baby or Couplet care experience * List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
* Laboring patients, antepartums, C/S, Cerclages, EDOB patients * Best personality Fit:
* Flexible * Able to work autonomously
