Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $400,000.00/yr

Position : Project Director

Company : International Mining Company

Location : North America

Salary : Attractive Base + Short & Long Term Bonus Incentives

The role : Our client who are a mid-tier mining owner, have a number of assets and projects throughout the Americas, they are currently considering multiple greenfield and brownfield mining projects in the region.

As a result, they are creating a new role for Project Director to join their business and oversee a key project in one of their major mining hubs, this role will require someone with strong technical acumen, who has led projects successfully in the North America previously, an Owner or Major EPC/M background is preferred.

Project value: The project will be in the value range of $700million-$1billion in value, experience leading the entire construction process from start to completion is crucial.

Reporting line : The role will report directly into the Executive for Projects for the company, due to the size of the company, there are plenty of future career development opportunities in this mining organization.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in related field
  • 15 years+ mining project management experience
  • Ideally exposure to $billion+ mining projects with a large engineering component to them
  • Influencing style of communication, solutions focused and proactive in nature
  • Experienced leading projects on the owner and/or EPCm side
  • Experience leading projects leading projects in western mining cultures
