Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Source and originate new real estate acquisitions through established networks of brokers, owners and tenants.
- Develop and execute strategies for expanding our AUM, identify trends, enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through investment vehicles, including acquisition and recapitalization opportunities based on current CRE and economic market conditions.
- Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting the SVP in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their success.
- Direct the analysis of target markets, identify market trends, and translate these insights into actionable investment strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, brokers, tenants and industry contacts critical to our acquisitions efforts.
- Oversee best practices for due diligence efforts, including financial, physical, and market analysis, ensuring alignment with various key areas of the company.
- Assist in enhancing the investment process within the company, constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Principally focused on sectors including Industrial, Hospitality, Medical Office, Life Science, Retail and Seniors Housing.
- Bachelors degree.
- +15 years of experience in originating and structuring real estate transactions, leading and managing an investments team, and demonstrating a strong understanding of investing across sectors.
- Advanced degrees or recognized CRE designations are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- High interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trends.
- Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently and within a fast-paced, team environment, while being highly organized and skilled at prioritization and time management.
- Results-driven, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in performance, and an adaptable, effective problem-solver who can quickly assess situations and provide creative solutions.
