As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to oversee the company’s accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. You will lead a high-performing accounting team, streamline processes, and partner with leadership to deliver timely, reliable financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly consolidation and inter-company elimination entries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Coordinate training programs for new staff, identify development needs for the current team, and conduct performance evaluations
• Plan and implement accounting policies and procedures that align with the company’s overall financial strategy
• Manage the company’s financial transactions, including accounts payable, cash receipts, and asset management
• Oversee technical accounting areas, including ASC 606 and ASC 842 compliance
• Lead the company’s annual financial audit and act as a key liaison with external auditors
• Monitor and analyze financial accounting data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Review and approve monthly account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
• Own the month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate results
• Review financial performance versus budget and prior periods, highlighting trends and concerns
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and rolling three-month cash forecasts
• Oversee or support the filing of sales/use and personal property tax returns
• Collaborate with external CPA firms on corporate income tax return preparation and review of tax provisions
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes through automation and best practices
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Bilingual proficiency (Mandarin Chinese and English) strongly desired
• Big 4 public accounting experience (3+ years) combined with private industry experience (3+ years) strongly desired
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, consolidations, and technical accounting standards (ASC 606 and ASC 842)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) with the ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
• Positive, adaptable mindset with the ability to adjust to changing business needs
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
